Emote Resizer Main Guidelines
According to Twitch Emote Guidelines, you should follow some rules. Some of them may include respecting the Community Guidelines like not using hateful speech, obscene words, or content that may be in violation of Twitch policies.
Also, the standard emotes image must be in a PNG format. The file size cannot exceed 1MB and the image ratio should be 1:1, a square shape.
The animated emotes should be in a GIF format, the file size cannot exceed 512kb each, and the image ratio is exactly the same as the PNG format images.
This Twitch feature is available to Partners and Affiliates. The partners in good standing and the selected affiliates are able to upload their emotes without a manual review from Twitch.
To be a Partner you need to have at least 60 calendar days since being partnered.
To be an Affiliate, you need to be streaming as an Affiliate for at least 60 days over a 2-year period. You also need to not have received ToS or Community guidelines warning or suspension within the 60-day streaming window.
However, we recommend you to check Twitch Emote guidelines in its integrity, so you can make sure that everything is ok.
Twitch Emote Sizes
Since Twitch only allows three predefined image sizes, you shouldn’t try to fit a lot of information into a single image.
When uploading your emote to Twitch, you will have to upload 3 different files each one with different sizes.
The sizes are 112px, 56px and 28px, all in a square shape ratio, 1:1. These files cannot exceed 25kb in size.
