Our third example is Alexis Eldredge, a YouTuber who currently has around 22k subscribers, and tells the story of how much she earned on YouTube in the first 6 months with 8.5k subscribers. Alexis explains that in those first 6 months that she started monetizing her channel, her earnings fluctuated a little, averaging $595 per month, with some months when she earned more and others less.
We chose these YouTubers as an example, because they are not YouTubers that most people know, and thus represent their earnings, in a more consistent and original way, without the hypes of the big YouTubers who are on the rampage at the moment, who earn millions.
It is good to remember that these YouTubers mention that it is always necessary to reach the YPP goals, which are 4000 hours of watch time and 1000 subscribers. It’s also always good to remember that publishing quality content, and consistently, is crucial.
These YouTubers also mention an interesting detail, that after starting to monetize their channels, they noticed an exponential growth in views, giving the impression that YouTube favors this type of channels. Of course, this is just speculation and we cannot claim this to be fact. But it’s still interesting.
